I shot in New York City’s Soho area with Jean Andre Antoine, a street photographer I met, you guessed it, on the street. On the corner of Prince and Broadway, to be exact. He sits on his stoop daily and shoots passers-by on one of his many old school polaroid cameras, selling you your shot for USD$10. Go find him, you’ll love him.
We explored Soho. From NoHo, to NoLIta and into Little Italy on a bright and early Friday morning, as New Yorkers walked to work ahead of the Memorial Day long weekend. This area has taken my attention over the past week. From my favourite cafes including Gitane and Jack’s Wife Freida, hotels including the Mercer and Crosby Street and the stores from Balenciaga to Wang, it’s the ultimate neighbourhood to make your own. I’ll see you there.
