An awful cliche, but I have to admit I have spent most of my time whilst living in London over the past few years in, you guessed it… Notting Hill.
I’ve made no secret of the fact that almost every morning you will find me at Granger & Co., working away on my laptop over soy piccolos, but what I really wanted to share were my other favourites, so you can make the area a true experience on your next visit.
Diverse, unique and oh-so chic, it’s no wonder Notting Hill is the place to be, and be seen. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay, your best bet will be to visit One Fine Stay for luxury boutique options in the area. xHermione
Notting Hill is overrun with Aussies for a multitude of reasons, my favourite being;
Granger & Co.
If you follow me on snapchat, you’ll know I’m there every single day. Tourists have the fluffy scrambled eggs or the famous ricotta hotcakes but I always order boiled eggs with chippolatas. Oh, and did I mention it’s almost impossible to find good coffee, and bonsoy, in London? Both available here!
The members club upstairs is the ultimate in chic for meetings but for non-members alike, the cinema experience is worth booking. Think: 50s style red velvet chairs, Gatsby style champagne glasses and cashmere blankets!
The brands only physical store, this is the place to coo over the latest in premium brands, from the best buyers.
I’m going to let you in on a little secret. London locals flock to Mediterraneaneo or Osteria Basilico for the most delicious Italian, friendly staff and the perfect location to wind down at the end of a long London day.
The Portobello Markets
Yes, it is touristy on the weekends but during the week, this is where I buy fresh flowers, and super cheap, organic fruit and vegetables. If you’re a regular, the stall owners remember your name and give you further discounts, or throw in a few peaches!
Said to be Kate Moss’ favourite restaurant, E&O is where we meet for drinks and late lunches or dinners on the weekend. A celebrity favourite, make sure you order the duck salad!
