Morocco is overwhelming. Stealing away a few hours of precious sunshine during the day is a must. The weather at this time of year is notoriously hot during the day and cold at night.
To get the most out of your day in Marrakech, I would advise you to visit the Hammam in the morning after breakfast before basking for a few hours in the sunshine. Later in the day, around 2PM, head out to the Medina and shop in the souks before a long lunch and drinks as the sun sets. The sun sets in Marrakech are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. There are plenty of bars and cafes dotted across the city too, revolving around the view. Restaurants don’t warm up for dinner until later in the evening, around 10PM is the ideal booking. By that time, the vibe will be in full swing and you will be in prime position for belly dancers and live, traditional music.
My favourite silk shorts got a workout on this particular trip, I love how comfortable and easy to wear they are. They are still available and now on sale, here. I’m also in love with my new Dior Technologic sunglasses. They just landed last week, you will see them all through my Marrakech posts, they are the best I’ve ever had. They are only available at Saks.
