Begging for an English countryside experience, we set off for a weekend with friends at the Daylesford Farm in Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds. Gates are opened annually for the Summer Party which we were lucky enough to experience but it’s well worth the trip at any time of year, for an overwhelmingly cliché experience.
Luckily the sun was out on this particular Saturday in June as we wandered the grounds, bought fresh produce and watched cooking demonstrations. Organic lamb burgers were washed down with Pimms and it was well worth the drive into the country air.
Visit for the spa, sustainable and organic cooking school and stay at the Cotswold Cottages. If you can’t make it out of London, head to the Notting Hill or Pimlico stores.
