Soho House has opened it’s newest outpost in Istanbul and it is absolutely jaw-droppingly incredible. Located in the Beyoglu district, which is the creative heart of the city, this is Soho House’s biggest club to date. Moving between the rooftop pool, screening room, various restaurants, bars and clubs, not to mention the gym and the spa, the only problem with the House is not really a problem at all: it’s so good, you will have to drag yourself away. Cecconi’s is a favourite, I had the blue fin tuna tartare and prosciutto daniele pizza, daily.
The Soho House ethos of creating a home away from home for it’s members is yes again achieved, despite the House’s immense size and offering. The club isn’t entirely restricted to members, accommodation is available to non-members, so there really is no reason not to go.
Should you decide to visit Istanbul, I have also compiled an extensive guide to the city – Istanbul: In Detail and a short guide of Istanbul: Sights to See, if you do manage to drag yourself away from this extraordinary hotel. xHermione.
