If you have time, drive the wildly popular Garden route from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape. If you don’t, as we didn’t, and you are into adventure and the path less travelled, hop on a flight and head to the lesser known..
We flew in to Port Elizabeth and journeyed immediately on to go river tubing and zip lining in the Tsitsikamma National Park. The following day we travelled to Addo Elephant National Park for a sunset game drive which was followed just hours later by a dawn game drive, which magically allows you to see the animals at night and again the following morning from 5AM as the sun rises. If you love the majestic elephant as much as I do, you will be spoiled and perhaps even lucky enough to experience a lion or two.
To finish our trip, we went sand boarding and as you can see, it was insanely cool.. truly one of the most incredible experiences I’ve had andI am really into my extremed adventures. South Africa has proven itself in fact, South Africa outdid itself. If you are into outdoor adventures, wildlife, fashion, food and wine and a hint of culture.. this is for you. And may I ask, who isn’t!? xHermione.
